Patient-specific implants & hyperrealistic 3D medical design
I turn CT, MRI, and DICOM data into surgical-grade implants and anatomically precise 3D medical models - for surgeons planning complex reconstructions, and for people who need to understand anatomy in ways a scan alone can't show.
My background spans both biomedical engineering and dedicated 3D specialization, so my work isn't limited to implants alone. I also design patient-specific surgical models, anatomical visualizations, tactile education tools, and real-time 3D simulations - all built against accurate clinical and anatomical data.

Experience & credentials
Designed implants at Anatomiz3D Medtech Pvt. Ltd., one of India's leading patient-specific implant companies. Every implant is derived from patient CT/DICOM data, reviewed by surgeons, and cleared for surgical use.
Full clinical pipeline in Materialise Mimics and 3‑matic - the industry-standard tools for patient-specific design: DICOM segmentation, anatomical reconstruction, CAD design, and STL output.
Cranial defects, cranioplasty revision, tumour excision, congenital deformity correction, and complex reconstruction. Every case is individually designed to match the patient's exact anatomy.
Files delivered ready for DMLS titanium, PEEK, SLA, and PolyJet printing - compatible with all major implant manufacturers and in‑house hospital printing labs.
Featured work
Patient-specific implants, anatomical models, and one experiment in mechanical design - spanning delivered client work and independent case studies.
Sculpted from a real CT dataset with anatomically accurate measurements - teeth, uvula, gums, tongue, and palate rugae precise enough to explore by hand. Foldable on hinges, hyperrealistic in finish, and assembled without tools.

A defect spanning the forehead down into the eye socket, reconstructed as a patient-specific titanium implant - restoring a normal forehead contour.

A large, left-sided cranial defect extending through a temporal cut, reconstructed as a single implant with a perforated lattice for osseointegration.

Personal explorations into problems the case work doesn't usually ask - like a joint that has to move. Shown here as active curiosity, not delivered or clinically validated work.
A working exploration into a moving, load-bearing joint mechanism for the jaw - an internal lattice for bone integration, a fixation footplate, and an articulating ball head modelled after the temporomandibular joint.

Core specialty
Anatomically accurate 3D assets, models, and animations for patient education, accessibility, and surgical storytelling - built with the same clinical precision as implant design, from tactile teaching models to procedural animation.
Core specialty
Custom implant plates designed from CT, MRI, and DICOM imaging data in PEEK or titanium - cranial, CMF, and orthopaedic. Precise anatomical fit, lattice structure design, fixation tab placement, manufacturing-ready output.
Surgical planning
Patient-specific 3D models for pre-operative planning and surgical rehearsal - physical, print-ready files for hands-on preparation before complex procedures.
Instrumentation
Patient-matched cutting guides and drill templates to improve intraoperative precision and reduce surgical time.
